This
Moments In Time blogspot started in not an "Ah Ha", moment, but rather in an" Oh, No", moment. In creating a Christmas letter my husband, Rob, decided that instead of listing the comings and goings of ourselves and our children, he'd have our friends go to a blogspot. Trouble is, we didn't have a Blogspot. That was the Moment the Moments In Time became a necessity.
Welcome to our Moments.

Dixie and Matt Sorensen
Dixie and Matt are living and working in Austin, TX. They have found
the warm weather and no snow quite enjoyable. Dixie tore her ACL earlier this year.
She had the ALC repaired and then spent the next several weeks rehabbing and
strengthening her knee. The Drs has said she could start running on it again.

PhD program in Psychology at BYU. Polly works for the LDS Church in Salt Lake City
helping the missionaries get to their destinations.
The following is our Christmas Letter written by Rob and the inspiration for this blogspot.
We have often thought this year, “No family should receive
so many blessings from their Father in Heaven, nor should they be so well
treated by their family, their neighbors, their Church community and all their
other treasured association, as we have this year by you.” Truly in large
measure this is a reflection of each of you and your goodness, our wonderful
associates in this life. Thank you; we are appreciative and grateful for your
continued love and friendships and associations.
One marring event of 2012 was the loss of my younger sister,
Colleen Hanks. Associated with her passing we have admired Gordon and their
children as they have dealt with her early passing with faith and cheerfulness.
To a person, they have exhibited their testimonies of the Savior and their
magnanimous personalities. I’m sure Colleen is pleased with them. We also lost our “Great” grandpa, Paul
Southwick; we are looking forward to the fulfillment of the Christmas promise
of good tidings and great joy that we will again be with them.
Our children and families all are healthy
and active, going to school, earning livings, raising children and doing
their best to go about doing well. We treasure them each.
In 2012, Elaine continued to be involved in the world of family
history and Temple service. I continue
to serve our neighbors and friends in my church calling. The business earned a
little money this year which certainly improves our outlook on life; I expect
to continue to work for the next several years.
In just a few days in our home on Christmas Eve, we will again
have a most unimpressive rendition of the Nativity. Instead of our children,
our grandchildren will dress up and play the parts of the angels, the
shepherds, the wise men, and of course Joseph, Mary and the Baby Jesus. (I hope
to be the narrator this year instead of the donkey, my most frequent role!) The
one part of our annual rendition that will be impressive is the message. We
join with you in exclaiming:
Glory to God in the highest, and on
earth peace, good will toward men
